Ryanair has announced two new routes from Dublin to Milan and from Knock to Tenerife as part of its Winter 2019 schedule.  

The airline also gave details of six new winter services from Dublin to Bordeaux, Bournemouth, Gothenburg, Kyiv, London Southend and Pisa. 

It also plans more services on three other Dublin routes to Cologne, Lisbon and Malaga.

With the addition of the new Dublin route, Ryanair will fly a total of 82 routes from the city.

The airline today also announced a new weekly route from Knock to Tenerife, which brings the total number of Knock routes to seven. 

It is also introducing four new winter services from Cork Airport – Alicante, Budapest, Malta and Poznan – bringing the total amount of routes from Cork to 14. 

Ryanair also operates 12 routes from Shannon and four from Kerry. 

The airline's chief marketing officer, Kenny Jacobs, said Ryanair will have 119 routes from Ireland this winter and it will carry 17 million customers. 

The carrier is looking to grow its Irish traffic by 6%, he added.
